Covid-19 Information Guide

Welcome to Barut Hotels.

The circular letters and recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) are being observed and complied with verbatim at all of the hotels within the organization of our Group.

Since the date of our incorporation, we, as Barut Hotels, have been perfectly fulfilling all of the sanitary requirements for our guests in accordance with the international standards. Our hygiene practices are inspected and certified every month by ISIS (International Sanitary Inspection Service), an international independent organization. YOUR ROOM

  • Your room has been cleaned by making use of the products with disinfecting features, and your room has been delivered to you as the "first occupant" following the performance of such processes.
  • The products such as the soaps, shampoo, shower gel/cream available in your room are disposable and will not be used by any individual other than you.
  • The daily cleaning of your room shall be performed by our staff by making use of masks and single-use gloves.
  • If you do not want us to enter your room for the daily room cleaning or mini-bar supplies, please advise the reception desk that you do not want such service.

 

COMMON USE AREAS

  • Cleaning of all areas is being performed within appropriate intervals by making use of the disinfecting materials conforming to the standards, depending on the nature of the surface.
  • All common use areas, including the restaurants, meeting hall, lobby, reception lounge, entertainment and animation area, bars and sales units, the sun beds around the pool and on shore have been arranged in accordance with the social distancing plan, and the necessary measures for social distancing have been taken, and the necessary markings have been made. No guests in excess of the capacity as required by the plan shall be admitted to such areas.

OUR STAFF

  • All of our staff members have received special training about the pandemic and hygiene.
  • Just as it is done for the common use areas, the hygiene standards and practices are being implemented in the same manner and meticulously at all of our staff areas.
  • Hygiene barriers sterilizers and the devices and equipment necessary for hand and body hygiene are being made available at the food production and kitchen areas within our enterprise.
  • Cleaning and hygiene of the areas associated with the kitchen, and also of any and all kinds of equipment used at the kitchen, as well as the counter tops and storage areas are being ensured on regular basis.

 

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • You may get on the elevators together with the individuals you stay in the same room. If there is another guest, who is not staying with you, in the elevator, then please wait for the next elevator. You can make use of the stairs instead of the elevators for the close floors.
  • Please pay utmost care to keep the social distance while moving within the facility. Please observe and follow the signs placed by the hotel management.
  • Please maintain the distance of 2 meter left between the tables.
  • Please do not alter the distance between the sun beds.
  • If you recognize any Covid-19 symptom at yourself or at our other guests you know, then please inform the reception desk immediately; the reception desk will enable you to contact by getting in touch with our Environmental and Social Service Agent and the health-care organizations for you.

Therefore, you need to wash your hand frequently with plenty of water and soap. We have placed hand disinfectant devices at the locations, where our service units are available, for your use if and when you are at a distance to the washrooms.
  • You should immediately dial 444 96 00 the hotel hotline, if and when you recognize any Covid-19 symptom or a positive test result, either inside or outside the hotel.
  • We hereby once more remind you that you might be subject to statutory/legal obligations if and when you would conceal any finding, information or symptom related to any infectious disease, including the Covid-19, or you would fail to notify the hotel management or to comply with the measures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it mandatory to wear mask at the beach or by the pool?
You do not have to wear mask in the sea or pool, as the mask will lose its effect and protective properties upon contact with water. When you need a mask, our personnel in charge will be happy to assist you with mask supply.
Will the Open Buffet be in service?
Yes, our Open Buffet service continues. The products prepared will be served to you as you wish by our trained kitchen personnel.
Will animation programs and daily activities continue?
All the animation programs and daily activities have been revised in accordance with the physical distancing guidelines. No activities involving physical contact will be performed.
Will Mini Club be open?
Our mini clubs will accept and serve children in accordance with the criteria set by the Ministry of Health. Some of the activities included in the program will be performed outside. The cleaning and disinfection of the mini club will be carried out regularly by trained personnel in compliance with the hygiene standards.
Will A La Carte Restaurants serve with reservation?
Our A La Carte Restaurants will serve with the reservation system by the social distance rules.
How will the beach and pool be used? How will the hygiene be ensured in such areas?
The beach and pools offer service as per the guidelines set by the Ministry of Tourism. The hygienic maintenance of our pools is carried out regularly in accordance with the periods reported by the Ministry of Health and as per Covid-19 procedures. The sun beds and sun umbrellas have been arranged in accordance with the physical distancing plan in order to ensure safe utilization of beach and pools; measures required for physical distancing have been taken and necessary markings have been made.
How will the check-in and check-out procedures be carried out? Is it possible to go outside during the accommodation?
The check-in procedures are carried out by our receptionists, who have received mandatory training on Covid 19, as per the physical distancing and hygiene guidelines. When entering the hotel, your luggage is taken to a suitable area and disinfected, and then carried to your room as per the guidelines set. In addition, when entering the hotel, fever check is performed and hand disinfectant is applied in accordance with the physical distancing guidelines. You do not need to sign a form or document to go outside during your accommodation. Mask supply is available at our hotels; you can easily go outside by observing the physical distancing and hygiene guidelines.
Will SPA and Fitness areas be open?
Yes, SPA and Fitness areas will be open. Our saunas in our SPA centers offer service with 50% capacity as per the procedure set by the Ministry of Health. In order to ensure safe utilization of our fitness centers, the number of people to utilize such center simultaneously and also the period of such utilization have been arranged in accordance with the physical distancing plan. Following each utilization, the areas of use and the equipment therein are cleaned by us by making use of the hygiene materials conforming to the standards.
